The second applicant day: Once again a complete success with 80 applications
“Showing our (hopefully) future colleagues who we are and what we stand for – that was the mission on Applicants’ Day,” says Christine Wilke, HR Officer for SternMaid. And it was very successful. At the end of the day, Christine Wilke and her colleagues were able to collect a whopping 80 applications for the 50 positions that needed to be filled.
The guests were able to talk to their colleagues at the various information stands about vacancies in production and technology, as well as in the warehouse, in the commercial area or in the quality department. The tours of production gave a first impression of the range of tasks and safety at work, which is a top priority at SternMaid. The trainees also showed what makes vocational training at SternMaid so special.
But what actually makes working at SternMaid so special and what ultimately convinced?
The enthusiasm of the visitors and the job interviews on site showed that it is the people who make the difference. Highly motivated, the team presented jobs on half-hour tours, held numerous interviews and accepted applications.
“Everyone is so friendly here, it makes you want to start here,” said one applicant.
