We value a good mix of practical learning, committed trainers and a supportive environment. Our trainers take time for us, the training content is relevant and up to date, and regular training sessions keep us current. Here we feel not just like apprentices, but like part of a motivated community that succeeds together.
What I particularly like about my training is the variety, because I get to work on different machines. I also think it’s great that the company provides us with laptops and mobile phones. These not only enable us to network well with others in the company, but also to use them optimally at vocational school.
I found out about the training programme at SternMaid through my father, who also works here. I got to know the company through my holiday jobs and was totally thrilled, which made it easy for me to decide to do my training here. I really like the training here because I learn something new every day and the working environment is great.
The training at SternMaid is very varied. Every day brings new and exciting problems and challenges. But it’s always fun and working with colleagues is a lot of fun.
Independence and trust are very important here. The colleagues have a lot of confidence in us trainees and after we have been shown how to do something, we are allowed to do it all by ourselves.
I have already learnt a great deal while working here in the warehouse. I particularly like working with my colleagues because we always work well together as a team. I really enjoy the training because every day is different and I am constantly learning new things.
