Our teams learn first aid
Did you know that the song “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees has just the right beat for cardiac massage? This and much more knowledge was imparted to our volunteers at a first aid course. Applying a compression bandage correctly, the right position for a person in shock, first aid for chemical and heat burns – the DRK Hagenow team showed attendees how to keep a cool head in difficult situations. What they learned can be important both on and off the job.
For SternMaid as a manufacturing company, work safety is especially important. Accidents can always happen, so we see training first aid givers as not just a duty, but also a responsibility.
